Artist Statement: questi vestiti maledetti

This piece is a visual representation of the Artist’s disdain for the clothes they wear. The clothes do not define the Artist. The Artist does not see themself as a “person of fashion,” rather one that sees clothes as a means to an end. Nothing more. The threads that are supposed to help express the Artist, and their ideas, thoughts, and emotions instead feel as if they’re controlling the Artist. The Artist understands its relationship with the evil threads, yet still uses them to draw up a veil that separates the Artist from reality.
