silence

a moment to speak

not being slow to speak knowing your deposition

bound by nothing

to an abundance of words

knowing each message, you controlled

guided by your own written narrative

what held my mouth quiet, now holds no weight

boldness, carefreeness, peace, all wash over me and give me the ability to speak

never again will i hush in shame, at least, for now.
